These are great shelves. They're lightweight and easy to install. I opted not to use screws in the wall, and purchased (on Amazon) some brass looking thumb tacks (used typically for furniture embellishments) to attach them to the wall. I LOVE how it adds just a touch more rustic character to these already beautiful shelves. I also added some battery powered, remote controlled puck lights on each shelf (also from Amazon) to show off the neat shadows in the dark. GREAT shelves, especially for the money.
